Finally fans can begin: opening five minutes of Stranger Things' final season unveiled.

The final installment of the platform's otherworldly smash hit Stranger Things is set to be a major releases of the year. Part one premieres on November 27, however a preview of the chilling first five minutes has been shared on the internet.

The Opening: An Echo to 1983

This installment, named The Crawl, brings audiences back to the beginning of the story in the year 1983, in the wake of the vanishing of the young character.

"Should I stay or should I go?" he vocalizes while attempting to remain composed in the Upside Down.

The situation rapidly turns terrifying the moment a monstrous creature materializes and drags Will to the domain of the villain. "After all this time, we can begin," he informs the youth as sending a tendril through his esophagus. "We together, we are going to do incredibly wondrous things as one."

Air Dates and Big Screen Events

The second part of the last season will be broadcast on December 26, with the last chapter released on January 1 – which will also be screened in select cinemas.

The synopsis explains: "The season of that year. The setting bears the marks by the opening of the Rifts, and the protagonists are united by a single goal: hunt down and destroy Vecna. Yet his location is unknown – his whereabouts and intentions unknown. Complicating the task, officials has placed the community under armed isolation and stepped up its hunt for the character, forcing her to go underground. While the anniversary of the boy's vanishing approaches, so does an intense, recognizable anxiety. The ultimate conflict is looming – and accompanying it, an evil stronger and more deadly than anything else they have encountered previously. To conclude this terror, they will require all members – the full party – standing together, for the final time."

Production Insights

The surprise clip was posted to YouTube following the series' Los Angeles premiere a few days ago, which was attended by cast members including Millie Bobby Brown and another key actor.

"The scope of this installment is larger … It features heightened thrills and enhanced CGI, however it's also without a doubt the most emotional series since it's the end of the narrative for the entire cast," the series' head writer, commented of the concluding installments.

The co-producer and partner, remarked: "Bringing it out for audiences is stressful, yet we're ready to unveil it finally."
